Hi all I was at a party recently and someone asked me why haven’t I updated my ‘Blog’ ..sorry to all but life has just swept me away these past few weeks ..I know that’s no excuse I hear you say ..But I have been busy updating some great pic’s on my web site so have a look ..
I wanted to share with you an event I did for my Sister and Brother-in-law’s 25th Anniversary …It went from trying to find an exclusive venue…which was proving quite a big job..[as all the venue's I thought of would not allow a small party of people and other venue's were too large or not different enough]to we all got busy and weren’t going to do anything.. to let’s use my parents huge back yard and do a lovely lunch …
Well that’s what we done and again it show’s what a bit of hard work and imagination can do..
We wanted one long table..I managed to find enough table cloths but ran frantically trying to find lovely thick fabric napkins ..found them in the end at a lovely wholesaler … Seeing that the back yard is filled with greenery ..my Dad always says he has the garden of Eden in his back yard ..I chose striking purple and hot pink to really give a pop of colour and stand out … Everybody enjoyed themselves and the weather ended up being beautiful …
I have posted a couple of photo’s I took whilst setting up and some when it was all finished …Sorry I didn’t take more but for those who know me I am not a photo person although I am getting better at taking picture’s…You never know one day I may even buy myself a good camera …Shock !
